Adrien Lacourpaille

I did not come in through a school. I came in through a stockroom, a supermarket at 5 a.m. and a remote course, and the whole route is below, one row per step, the way the register keeps everything else.

The path, oldest step first

  1. Site du Zéro

    Self-taught

My first HTML tags and my first CSS, on the Site du Zéro, the French school of self-taught coders. Then nothing for years: I was busy growing up.

  2. P2R

    Receiving and shelving

Receiving and shelving at a seller of motorbike and scooter parts. Six years of putting every part in its place, which turns out to be decent training for software architecture.

  3. O’Clock

    Remote course · 798 hours

A friend mentioned a remote developer course. Five and a half months, 798 hours, the basics. No diploma at the end, just the urge to keep going.

  4. Super U

    Shelving, 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Shelves in the morning, code all afternoon. The apps of my first portfolio were built that way.

  5. Full-stack developer

    In production · Nantes

Hired in Nantes in March 2023. Today I am the only developer on a multi-screen platform in production.

I also mentor the junior developers and apprentices who come through.

Where the evenings went

The evenings still go to code. Every app in the register was born from a real need and shipped finished.

Off the clock: cinema, and table tennis.
